SK8FEST, Bringing It From the Street! An ecclectic evening of artists, musicians, dancers, skateboard demonstrations and sumptuous street vendor food. Advance sale tickets ($50 per person) now available at Ripping Giraffe, Nelson Husky, The Bridge Radio, Nelson Ford, Eddy Music and Geo-lyn at 250-354-7275. This fundraiser is provided by the Rotary Club of Nelson Daybreak and the Hotel & Resort Management and Culinary Arts students of Selkirk College. Proceeds will go to the Kootenay Lake Outdoor Skatepark Society. (download the poster)
