Newest meber Yvonne Borrows

Yvonne Borrows is a Major In The Salvation Army, appointed to Nelson in July of 2010. She has been a Salva tion Army Officer for nearly 20 years, in Duncan BC, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Calgary Prior to service with the Salvation Army she worked in court services in BC.

She is a Pastor first, with a BA in Theology and Biblical studies and Christian Counselling. but within The Salvation Army you must be quite versatile. She is by nature a community developer and will use these skills in what ever capacity or appointment she is involved with. Yvonne has been married, nearly 32 years now, with 2 children, a daughter in Okanagan Falls, and a son still liv- ing at home.

Burrows have 3 beautiful grandchildren also in OK Falls. When not struggling with injuries, Yvonne likes to run—5ks, 10ks, and half marathons. She has been a Cub Scout Leader for about 28 years.
