Coldest Night of the Year

Happy New Year!

A heads up that a Rotary Team has been registered for the Coldest Night of the Year Walk! Our team is called the Rotary Rascals! I am the team captain and will be coordinating our efforts with Mark McBride.

To join the team and to donate members can go to https://canada.cnoy.org/location/nelson and register to be on the Rotary Rascals team or to donate directly to the team. Let's do this as soon as we can. We have a team goal to raise $2000.00 and I know we can do it!!

The Coldest Night of the Year is a fundraising walk of 2, 5 or 10 km to raise money for Nelson CARES Society to increase service for low income housing, a key challenge in Nelson. Our team will do its best as individuals on the team to raise this money for the team. Those who can are asked to walk as a team for either 2, 5 or 10 km on the night of the walk. At the end of the walk there are hot drinks, chili and massages! It is lots of fun and a very cool cause. join us!!
