Cancelled! - October 12, 2013 - Nelson Skate Park!

Posted: September 18 - 2013

KLOPS, the City of Nelson & The Rotary Club of Nelson Daybreak invite you to come & enjoy the ribbon cutting & opening day of Nelson Skate Park.

Date: Saturday October 12, 2013
Time: noon

We have just been informed by Chad Hansen that the Skatepark Ribbon Cutting scheduled for Saturday October 12 has been cancelled. The inclement weather has played havoc with the construction schedule. There is a major storm approaching BC that will bring rain throughout the next week. As a result, Karl, the Project Manager knows that there is no way that the Skatepark will be completed by October 12. Stay tuned for a revised date in the spring (possibly June 21 which is Go Skateboarding Day).
