Burger and Beer fundraiser to support sk8park!

Posted: March 26 - 2012

Ride the wave of enthusiasm that is enveloping Nelson as increasing support is announced for the SK8PARK! Join member of the Rotary Club of Nelson Daybreak for a fun-filled burger and beer bash at Findlay’s Irish Bar and Grill on Friday April 13. Socialize from 5-6 and then join in the boisterous fun fund raising activities from 6 p.m. onwards.

All proceeds will go to the Kootenay Lake Outdoor Skate Park Society in support of the proposed skate park. Let’s make Friday the 13th a very lucky day for skate- boarders in the Nelson community.

Tickets are available from Salina at The Nelson Star, Kelly at Kootenay Optometry Clinic at 366 Baker Street, Noreen at Cottons, Roger at Investors Group, or any Daybreak member. A flyer is attached on page 6 of this edition.
