Rotary and Community Literacy Award

Posted: April 7 - 2017

Congratulations! The Rotary Club of Nelson and Nelson Daybreak Rotary have been chosen to receive this year’s Nelson Community Literacy Award. Rotarians have long been champions of literacy, volunteering at events like Reach a Reader, tutoring adult learners in the community, supporting programs like Books Everywhere and donating books and buying purple literacy socks! Rotarians have contributed to community literacy in many, many ways.

Thank you so much for your ongoing contribution to literacy and learning in Nelson!
